Abstract submission is closing for British Yeast Group 2019: Discovery to Impact. Submit your abstract before Monday 29 April for your chance to present your research at this Focused Meeting, taking place on 26–28 June at County Hotel, Newcastle, UK.

The 2019 British Yeast Group meeting will give early career yeast researchers the opportunity to present their recent research results through a series of posters and offered oral presentations.

This meeting will explore the theme of discovery to impact, in which fundamental research themes are integrated with applied themes.

The key topics include:

  • Fundamental cellular processes, including metabolic cycles, chromatin biology, regulation of gene expression and control of quiescence.
  • Yeasts as disease models
  • Pathogenic yeasts
  • Biotechnological applications of yeasts
