The Society’s flagship Annual Conference is taking place between 8–11 April 2019 in Northern Ireland. Abstracts are still being accepted for the meeting, which promises to be one of the most exciting yet and an unmissable opportunity to promote your work in Belfast – one of the UK’s most prestigious areas of microbiology research.

The event is taking place at the award-winning ICC Belfast (formerly Belfast Waterfront) and aims to cover topics across the breadth of microbiology. It will also host workshops, forums and symposia specifically designed to help with professional development and cross-disciplinary learning.

Posters

For those abstracts that are awarded a poster, Annual Conference provides an excellent platform for emerging scientific research.

All posters will be displayed within the same high-traffic area within the convention centre. Posters will also be rotated to ensure relevance to the content of the day's live programmed sessions – full details of which can be found on the Annual Conference event page.

Submit an abstract

Submissions close on Monday 10 December 2018 so don't miss out on this opportunity to showcase your microbiological research at the UK’s largest annual gathering of microbiologists.

Submit your abstract via the Annual Conference page of our website.
