Microbiology Society condemns discrimination

At the Microbiology Society we condemn discrimination in all forms, as stated in our code of conduct. However, we know that we have a lot more to do.

We are proud of our values which are central to everything we do. Our strength is our membership which has a vibrancy that comes from its genuine diversity. We enable and support anyone and everyone in our community to develop, expand and strengthen their networks so that they can generate new knowledge about microbes and ensure that it is shared with other communities.

We are welcoming to anyone – our reputation as a friendly, nurturing and approachable community, driven by the experience of a diverse set of members, is extremely important to us.
