The early bird registration rate for Antimicrobial drug discovery from traditional and historical medicine will be available until Tuesday 15 October. Register to attend the meeting before the early bird deadline ends to benefit from the discount.

This pilot meeting will take place on 29 October 2019 at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, UK and the event programme will comprise of a range of flash talks and round table discussions. It has been organised to bring together researchers working on different aspects of natural product antimicrobials to share their areas of expertise and assess what capacity there is for mining antimicrobial compounds from traditional medical sources.

The cross-disciplinary meeting aims to bring together a diverse network of researchers in fields such as microbiology, chemistry, botany and the history of medicine, working in research institutions, universities and industry. The event will facilitate conversations and provide the space to collaborate, with the aim of building a cohesive network for help exploit the natural compounds database represented by traditional European medicine.
