As part of our commitment to develop, expand and strengthen the networks and opportunities available to our members, the Microbiology Society is launching a series of events throughout 2019 in the UK and Ireland, led by our President, Professor Judith Armitage.

Embarking on the first year of her presidency, Judith’s aim is to meet with as many members, both nationally and internationally, Presidents from other related societies and stakeholders as possible to ensure the Society continues to ensure all areas of microbiology are supported and that the voice of the Microbiology Society is heard.

Responding to feedback from our recent membership survey, we have designed a series of events with the help of our member volunteers to give members and non-members a unique opportunity to engage in discussion, find out how to get involved with Society activities, meet the President and find out more about plans for our 75th Anniversary in 2020.

Join us at one of our first two events on 12 March at the University of Leeds or 13 March at Newcastle University.
