Registration is now open for the 2019 British Yeast Group: Discovery to Impact Focused Meeting

Registration is now open for the British Yeast Group meeting. The event takes place 26–28 June 2019 at County Hotel, Newcastle, UK. It will explore the theme of ‘Discovery to Impact’, in which fundamental research themes are integrated with applied themes, including biotechnological applications of yeasts, yeasts as disease models, and pathogenic yeasts.

The programme features an exciting range of keynote talks, speakers and a social programme which will give delegates the opportunity to network at informal dinners after the event on Wednesday and Thursday evening.

The key topics for this meeting will be:

  • Fundamental cellular processes, including metabolic cycles, chromatin biology, regulation of gene expression and control of quiescence.
  • Yeasts as disease models
  • Pathogenic yeasts
  • Biotechnological applications of yeasts

Submit your abstract for this Focused Meeting and present your research. The deadline for submissions is Sunday 29 April 2019.
