Submit to the new Pseudomonas collection in the Journal of Medical Microbiology

The Microbiology Society is pleased to announce the launch of a new Pseudomonas collection in the Journal of Medical Microbiology.
The collection will be guest-edited by Professor Joanna Goldberg and co-edited by Professor Kalai Mathee and accepts original articles, full-length reviews and mini-reviews on Pseudomonas research.
Professor Goldberg specialises in lung infections of cystic fibrosis patients and is based at Emory University, USA. Professor Mathee is Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Medical Microbiology with expertise in the bacterial pathogenicity of Pseudomonas aeruginosa as well as antimicrobial resistance, microbiomes and genomics at Florida International University, USA.
The collection will include research into all Pseudomonas species, not limited to just human infections, but also animal and plant pathogens. We expect the articles to span across a number of disciplines. As such, this collection should appeal to a wide range of researchers and promote interdisciplinary collaborations that provide novel insights.
The Pseudomonas collection has been produced in conjunction with the Pseudomonas 2019 conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and welcomes articles from participants and non-participants.
The deadline for submissions is 31 August 2019 and manuscripts for consideration can be submitted on the Journal of Medical Microbiology website. Authors submitting research to the Pseudomonas collection should include a statement to this effect in their covering letter upon submission.
The Journal of Medical Microbiology provides comprehensive coverage of medical, dental and veterinary microbiology and infectious diseases, including bacteriology, virology, mycology, and parasitology. There is no publication cost to this collection.
