On 4–5 July 2022, the Society hosted the Focused Meeting, 'What's New in Cryptosporidium?'. We look back at Twitter for some of the highlights of #Cryptosporidium2022!
With a full scientific programme prepared to address the latest advances in Cryptosporidium research, we were looking forward to hearing from renowned invited speakers and offered paper presenters, showcasing the latest research in person!

Scientific sessions
The scientific sessions at #Cryptosporidium2022 were designed to give delegates the chance to hear about the latest advances in the field of Cryptosporidium, share good practice, and establish collaborations with others across science, industry, public and environmental health and clinical and veterinary practice.
The meeting was kicked off by two members of the organising committee: Angharad Davies opened with a welcome session and introduced Rachel Chalmers, who began the scientific session with her keynote presentation.
