Join the Society

We have five membership grades, broadly reflecting career stage and level of experience/interest. All grades are available in all countries. Membership is valid for 12 months from the day of joining (unless otherwise stated).

Before joining, you can view our membership rates and membership benefits tables to help you decide which grade suits you best.

In some countries, you can claim tax relief on membership fees for learned societies. If you are based in the UK, the Society is an approved learned society and the HM Revenue & Customs website provides details on how to claim tax relief. If you are based outside of the UK, please do research whether this may be an option for you.
