Overview

Overview

The Microbiology Society, in consultation with members of the virology community, are holding an online workshop on SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 to support ongoing and future research around the pandemic.

This one-day virtual event will take place on 29 July 2020.

Key Objectives

  1. To share information on research activity and plans from Society members.
  2. To promote and facilitate collaboration.
  3. To build a research community, both within and beyond the Microbiology Society, to coordinate efforts against the pandemic.

The Society seeks to gain a greater understanding of ongoing and planned SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 research, that members and affiliates are involved in, as a catalyst for information exchange, interactions and extending the research network.
