Could you be the next Editor of Microbiology Today

The Society is looking to appoint a member who is interested in being the next Editor of our highly regarded magazine, Microbiology Today. The person appointed will be Editor from January 2024 to December 2027, but will also serve a year as Deputy Editor, shadowing the current Editor, Chris Randall, throughout 2023. 

The Editor of Microbiology Today helps guide the direction of the magazine and its scientific content, providing an overview of relevant and topical themes that will inform our members and raise awareness of new and innovative aspects of microbiology.
