Each year, the Microbiology Society awards six Prize Lectures in recognition of significant contributions to microbiology. All members are invited to nominate an outstanding microbiologist for a Microbiology Society Prize.
A prize will be awarded annually to the undergraduate student, in each qualifying institution, who performs best in microbiology in the second year of a Bachelor's degree.
The Infection Science Award is an exchange scheme that facilitates the most promising trainee and early career presenters from the Federation of Infection Societies (FIS) Annual Conference (Infectious Disease Futures session) to present at the Microbiology Society Annual Conference (Infection Forum) and vice versa.
