Important information for our members: changes to your online membership area
As we introduce a new members area and changes to how you apply for grants, register for events, and renew your membership, we will provide guidance on what’s changed and how to easily complete your regular transactions.
For now, you don’t need to do anything—just keep an eye out for future communications via our website, the membership newsletter, and email, which will tell you more.
In a few weeks we will temporarily pause event registrations and grant applications, and you will not be able to amend your profile or any other information within MiSociety (your logged-in membership area). We will let you know when that pause is about to begin and inform you as soon as all services are back up. In the meantime we recommend that if you know you would like to make an event booking or renew your membership (as examples), you do so now.
Our aim is to make the business of being a member of the Society as straightforward as possible and, over time, to allow greater understanding of our members to provide a more personalised experience, ensuring that everyone can benefit from everything we have to offer. Watch out for an email from the Society with more information in January 2026.
