The meeting tackled key regulatory issues around research on dangerous pathogens. The meeting was co-organised by Society member Sir John Skehel (National Institute for Medical Research); Society members Professor Jeffery Almond (Sanofi Pasteur), Professor Kenneth Berns (University of Florida), and Professor Robert Webster (St Jude Children’s Research Hospital) gave talks. Professor Wendy Barclay (Imperial College) and Professor Richard Elliott (University of Glasgow) represented the Society's Council. Details are available online.
