Protistology UK Microbial Symbiosis Meeting

Overview

Protistology UK’s autumn meeting will be held in collaboration with and supported by the Microbiology Society and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation on 16–17 December 2019 at the Crowne Plaza London - Kings Cross, UK.

The event will focus on the following areas:

• Discussion of leading research on the evolution, ecology and biology of symbioses that include microbes.
• Identification of novel perspectives on symbiosis by fostering dialogue between symbiosis researchers and scientists/engineers who have not worked on the topic but have novel disciplinary and methodological perspectives to bring to the topic.
• Consideration of major unanswered questions of microbial symbiosis research and formulation of strategies to address these questions.
