Overview
As part of our Spring Conference we took Stopping the Spread of Superbugs to Dublin!
'Stopping the Spread of Superbugs' is a fast-moving, hospital-based drama where you can get involved by questioning the experts. This play investigates how two cleaners deal both personally and professionally with the outbreak of a superbug. Dr Anthony Hilton guided attendees through the scientific and ethical issues faced by infection control professionals and patients alike.
Thanks are due to our facilitator Anthony Hilton along with experts Jim O’Gara, Fidelma Fitzpatrick and Shiela O’Donlon, our local actors Claire Blennerhasser and Shona McDonald and their director Christina Matthews and finally the Microbiology Society representative Stephen Smith for his support on this project.
