Journal of General Virology (JGV) is pleased to announce the first Editors Symposium, to be held on Thursday 26 September 2019 in the Great Woodhouse Room, University House, University of Leeds.
As well as acting in an editorial capacity, all of the Editors of Journal of General Virology maintain active research laboratories. This one-day Symposium will showcase the breadth of virology research represented by Journal of General Virology’s international Editorial Board. There will be 12 short (25 minutes) presentations from Editors, highlighting recent achievements from their laboratories and illustrating the broad range of expertise within the Editorial Board. The Symposium provides a unique opportunity to hear cutting-edge research across the spectrum of virology, from leading researchers in the field, and is the perfect opportunity to engage with local virologists and get to know the Editorial Board.
The registration price for the Symposium is £30 which includes coffee, tea and a buffet lunch. The capacity of the venue is limited to 80 persons so registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
