The Microbiology Society is fundraising to unlock the potential of microbiology research and provide maximum benefit to society. Our members are involved in addressing challenges that vary from urgent problems demanding immediate solutions, such as new and emerging diseases, to long-term issues, like antimicrobial drug resistance, food security and environmental sustainability. They have a unique depth and breadth of knowledge about microbiology and our role is to help unlock and harness their potential.
We are fundraising to support more microbiologists in this vital research, which might one day provide solutions to truly global challenges.
Get involved — donate £80 or £8, or anything you can afford, to celebrate 80 years of your microbiology community
By doing so, you will help unlock the potential of microbiologists to focus on the grand challenges of research and help us continue for the next 80 years.
