Abstract deadline fast approaching for British Yeast Group 2021

British Yeast Group 2021: The future of yeast research is taking place digitally from 7-9 December.

The deadline for abstract submissions for the final Focused Meeting of the year is fast approaching. If you would like to be considered for an offered oral, poster or flash presentation, please submit your abstract by Monday 20 September at 17:00 BST.

The organising committee are welcoming abstracts on a range of topics, including cell and developmental biology; evolution and ecology; synthetic and systems biology; biotechnology and yeasts and disease. The committee is particularly keen to receive abstracts from Early Career Microbiologists due to the meeting’s focus on the future of yeast research.

Society Conference Grants are also available to support eligible members wishing to present at the event and Microbiology will be awarding the ‘Most Promising Science Prize’ to one of the poster presenters.
