There is only one week left to take advantage of the early bird discount to attend the Microbiology Society’s flagship Annual Conference taking place on Monday 8–Thursday 11 April 2024 at the Edinburgh International Convention Centre. Register before 23:59 GMT on Wednesday 6 March 2024.
Members get subsidised registration fees for Annual Conference and other Society events. Join now to enjoy these discounts and many other opportunities that are designed for microbiologists at all stages of their careers.

The Microbiology Society’s Annual Conference is the UK’s largest gathering of microbiologists, and we welcome everyone from across our community to Edinburgh in 2024. The Conference takes place over four days and consists of scientific symposia, workshops, fora, professional development sessions, Prize Lectures, Hot Topics and much more.
In addition to the scientific programme, there will be ample opportunities for formal networking and the social programme offers informal opportunities for delegates to make new friends, forge future collaborations and have fun. All delegates are welcome to book onto our social events.
