The Microbiology Society is pleased to announce that the Journal of General Virology is now affiliated with the Canadian Society for Virology, a new group promoting discussion and collaboration among virologists. Canadian Society for Virology (CSV) members will now receive a 20% discount off article processing charges for publishing open access articles in the Journal of General Virology. Canada is well-represented among corresponding authors in the Journal of General Virology and we are delighted to be able to create a new relationship with the CSV that will benefit both societies.

“The Canadian Virology Society is excited about this new affiliation with the Journal of General Virology, which will help support the open access publication of research done by our members,” said Nathalie Grandvaux, President of CSV.

“I am very pleased to be able to announce this agreement and hope that it will stimulate more collaborations, discussions and exchange of ideas with our colleagues in Canada,” said Mark Harris, Editor-in-Chief, Journal of General Virology.

Microbiology Society members are reminded that they also receive a discount for article processing charges. Contact [email protected] for more information.
