Join our President and network with local microbiologists at Northumbria University, UK

The second President’s Roadshow of 2022 will take place on Monday 25 July at City Campus East, Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
The event will be hosted by Dr Amanda Jones (Northumbria University, UK) and Professor Iain Sutcliffe (Northumbria University, UK) and will be a great opportunity to meet our President, Professor Gurdyal S. Besra, whilst also networking with microbiologists in the local area.
During the Roadshow, the President will share insights into his successful career in microbiology and his journey as a Tuberculosis (TB) researcher. You will also have a chance to hear about opportunities to get involved with the Society, including our ECM Forum and engagement work. Professor Tracy Palmer (Newcastle University, UK and Microbiology Deputy Editor-in-Chief) will provide more information about publishing in our journals; plus, you can find out about our grants from recipient Professor Heath Murray (Newcastle University, UK) and regular reviewer Dr Vartul Sangal (Northumbria University, UK).
