A few weeks ago, the Society for General Microbiology held its Annual Conference at the ACC in Liverpool. We interviewed several of the researchers who presented work at the event for this month's edition of Microbe Talk.
On the podcast we’ve got: Professor W. Ian Lipkin, discussing pandemics and Hollywood movies; Dr Laura Clarke, talking about bacteria that do strange things to nematodes; Professor Marvin Whiteley, explaining how infections can be polymicrobial; Dr Roger Sanders, talking about the chances of developing an HIV vaccine; and Dr Rita Colwell, explaining the challenges facing early-career women scientists.
Microbe Talk is the monthly podcast from the Society for General Microbiology. Visit our blog to listen to the podcast.
