Registration is now open for the Journal of General Virology Editors Symposium

Journal of General Virology (JGV) is pleased to announce that it will be hosting its first Editors symposium at the University of Leeds, UK, on 26 September 2019.

As well as acting in an editorial capacity, all of the Editors of Journal of General Virology maintain active research laboratories. This one-day symposium will showcase the breadth of virology research represented by the Journal of General Virology’s Editors. There will be 12 (25 minute) presentations from Editors, highlighting recent achievements from their laboratories. Journal of General Virology’s international Editorial Board have a wealth of expertise covering animal viruses, insect viruses, plant viruses, TSE and prokaryotic viruses and this symposium provides a unique opportunity to hear cutting-edge research across the spectrum of virology, engage with local virologists, and get to know the Editorial Board.

Registration for the event is £30 which includes coffee, tea and a buffet lunch. The capacity of the venue is limited at 80 attendees, so registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. You can register to attend and find out more about the speakers on the event page.
