The abstract submission deadline for Microbes in Medicine has been extended

The abstract submission deadline for the Focused Meeting Microbes in Medicine: A Century of Microbiology at Trinity College Dublin has been extended by two weeks, to Thursday 5 September.

Submit your abstract now for your chance to present your research at this meeting taking place in Dublin on 24–25 October.

The following key topics will be discussed at this meeting:

  • Use of genomics to study antibiotic resistance and virulence
  • Gene regulation in pathogens
  • Antibiotic persistence in bacteria
  • Microbiota in health and disease
  • Microbial surfaces

Society Conference Grants are available to support eligible members wishing to present at this Focused Meeting. Funding is also available for members requiring support for caring costs associated with conference attendance. You can apply for a grant before receiving notification about the outcome of your abstract submission. The deadline to apply for a grant is 12 September.
