Our principal goal is to develop, expand and strengthen the networks available to our members so
that the science of microbiology provides maximum benefit to society.
We note that our submission reflects the views expressed by nine members of the Microbiology
Society who responded to our call for input. We present evidence provided by our respondents and provide recommendations where appropriate.
