Ireland’s Independent COVID-19 Evaluation

Ireland’s Independent COVID-19 Evaluation wants to hear from the Irish microbiology community to understand the impacts of the management of the pandemic in Ireland. The Evaluation’s objective is to learn lessons for the future.  

Following an initial response by the Microbiology Society outlining the importance of microbiologists in Ireland throughout the COVID-19 pandemic in July 2025, the Evaluation requested a full collective submission from the microbiology community which is being coordinated by the Microbiology Society.  

Influence the policies of tomorrow, share your experience before the deadline on 19 April 2026 at 17:00 GMT.
