NHS change consultation

The Microbiology Society welcomes the proposal to reform the water industry as detailed in their white paper, ‘A New Vision for Water’,  published on 20 January 2026.  

The Microbiology Society and the Association of Laboratory Medicine have joined forces to respond to the Department of Health and Social Care’s (DHSC) consultation on enabling pharmacists flexibilities when dispensing medicines.

The Microbiology Society was proud to lead a policy workshop at this year's Innovations Against AMR Summit, held at the University of Warwick, UK.  

A new policy briefing on the evolving research around biofilms and the challenges of tackling them in order to improve antibiotic treatments.

The Microbiology Society has submitted evidence to the UK Parliament’s Science, Innovation and Technology Committee as part of the Committee’s inquiry into innovation and global food security.
