Overview

The Microbiology Society Education and Outreach Network (EON) invites you to join our online Winter Conference on 21st October 2026. This half-day event will explore internationalisation, collaboration, and connectivity in microbiology education, outreach, and scholarship.

The meeting aims to bring together educators, researchers, outreach practitioners, and students to share ideas, build networks, and showcase innovative practice across institutions, disciplines, and global communities.

We particularly welcome contributions that highlight:

  • International or interdisciplinary collaborations
  • Innovative approaches to microbiology education and outreach
  • Projects that engage new or diverse audiences
  • Transferable teaching, scholarship, or engagement practices
  • Reflections on building sustainable national and international networks

Submissions on all aspects of microbiology education, outreach, and scholarship are welcome, and we encourage participation from colleagues at all career stages and from all regions.
