Join our President and Journal of General Virology Editors in Glasgow to network with local virologists and microbiologists

The fourth President’s Roadshow of 2022 will take place on Monday 17 October at Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel, Glasgow, UK.

The event will be organised by Professor Paul Duprex (Center for Vaccine Research, University of Pittsburgh, USA, Journal of General Virology Editor-in-Chief) and Professor Alain Kohl (Centre for Virus Research, University of Glasgow, UK, Journal of General Virology Deputy Editor-in-Chief). It will be a great opportunity to meet our President, Professor Gurdyal S. Besra, and members of the Journal of General Virology Editorial Board, whilst also networking with virologists and microbiologists in the local area.

During the Roadshow, the President will share insights into his successful career in microbiology and his journey as a Mycobacterium tuberculosis (TB) researcher. You will have a chance to hear about opportunities to get involved with the Society, including our ECM Forum and grants scheme. Members of the Journal of General Virology Editorial Board will also be available to answer any questions you may have about the journal and publishing for the community.
