2011 - Food security and safety
01 November 2011 publication
Summary
The Position Statement seeks to highlight and weight areas of microbiology research that will address the five key challenges for the food system identified in the UK Government’s Foresight report The Future of Food and Farming (2011).
We identify nine microbiological research areas we believe must be pursued if we are to meet the food needs of the world’s growing population.
