House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee: biodiversity and ecosystems inquiry

Logo - small square 220x220.jpg The Microbiology Society submitted a written response to the Environmental Audit Select Committee’s Inquiry ‘Biodiversity and Ecosystems’, which examines how best to protect and enhance biodiversity whilst considering nature-based solutions to climate change and the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. Our response includes a call to the four nations to prioritise resources in soil health and circular economy research and innovation in order to unlock the potential of micro-organisms as crucial allies in tackling biodiversity loss.
