What to look forward to on day four of Annual Conference 

The Marjory Stephenson Prize Lecture 2022: Fungal biomineralization by Geoffrey Gadd (University of Dundee, UK) will be held today in the Main Auditorium at 09:00.

Sessions taking place today include:

  • A one health perspective on the eukaryome
  • Celebrating 75 years of Microbiology: CRISPR and defence mechanisms
  • CLIMB-BIG-DATA from microbial sequences to consequences: a demonstration
  • Environmental microbiology: our sustainable future
  • Infection forum
  • Polymicrobial infections: Mixed messages, interspecies strife and renegade actors in the host-microbiome interaction
  • Viral determinants of acute versus persistent infection

Poster presentations will take place today at lunchtime between 12:00 and 13:00.

The exhibitors will be closing down from 14:00, while the end of the Conference will be at 17:30. If you have exhibited a poster and would like to take it home with you, don’t forget to collect it before you leave the ICC Belfast, and before 18:00.
