Abstract submission is open for Annual Conference Online 2021

Abstract submission is now open for the Society’s flagship Annual Conference 2021, which will now be delivered online.
The event takes place between Monday 26 April – Friday 30 April 2021.
Annual Conference Online 2021 is designed to cover the breadth of microbiology research and its comprehensive scientific programme has 23 sessions taking place in a range of formats, including symposia, virology workshops, eukaryotic and prokaryotic forums and professional development sessions.

Annual Conference is the UK’s largest annual gathering of microbiologists. For abstracts that are awarded an oral presentation or electronic poster, the meeting has been designed to provide an excellent online platform for emerging scientific research.
All abstracts will be reviewed by the event’s Scientific Committee and external reviewers. Notifications will be sent to authors via email. Please note, abstract deadlines have been pushed back to enable authors the longest possible leadtime to submit their work.
Submissions close on 15 February 2021.
Notifications of acceptances will be made from 8 March 2021.
