Places are still available for Antimicrobial drug discovery from traditional and historical medicine. Register online to attend this meeting taking place on 29 October 2019 at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, UK.

The event has been organised to bring together researchers working on different aspects of natural product antimicrobials to share their areas of expertise and assess what capacity there is for mining antimicrobial compounds from traditional medical sources. The event programme will comprise of a range of flash talks and round table discussions.

The cross-disciplinary meeting aims to bring together a diverse network of researchers in fields such as microbiology, chemistry, botany and the history of medicine, working in research institutions, universities and industry. The event will facilitate conversations and provide the space to collaborate, with the aim of building a cohesive network to help exploit the natural compounds database represented by traditional European medicine.

Visit the event page to find out more about the meeting and find out more about what to expect by reading our Q&A with session organiser Dr Freya Harrison.
